What is media?😙

For our mahi today we were learning about what is media? A lot of people said social media like tiktok,snapchat,instagram and twitter but media is everywhere! billboards count as media same as banners,websites,movies,posters,podcasts and loads more. 

So for our session today we had to make a poster of what types of medias we have seen within 24 hours and this is what kinds of different medias I have been on the past 24 hours.

The easiest things to do were to find the pictures that you wanted cause it only took a few clicks to find our images but, the things that were hard for me was to think of all of the media's I have been on the past 24 hours so I had to think hard and these are most of the things I could think of and the other hardest part was to fit all my images in my poster.

So now you know that media is more than socials see you later and learn more interesting facts!😜

How to respect your chromebook!

My second scratch game! i was so exited because I get to make up my own! My little story is about how to respect your chromebook the right way on scratch. The coding skills we are learning right now is how to move your sprite ( character ) add a custom background, and colour your sprite.

My next steps in my game is how to make my sprite move in the right direction instead of it going all over the place and to find the right coding.My feedback i would give you is if you ever use scratch make sure you read the codes and make sure you don't delete your sprite!

You can create your own background and your own character It was fun to do because you can use your creativity throughout the game. 

The one thing I had a problem with was to work with the limit of time and put the coding In the right places

How to have a good conversation

 We were learning about how to have a good conversation.

I found it easy to find images and make a comic book.

I found it hard to work with someone that i don't know.

I really enjoyed us both sharing our ideas and making a cool comic.  

Next time I need to work within the time limit.

We were learning about good and bad comments.

I found it easy to duplicate the thumbs up and thumbs down.

I found it hard to write all the comments.

I really enjoyed i really enjoyed working with a buddy.

Next time I need to work faster in the time limit we were given.

I found it easy to plan with my buddy and have different ideas.

I found it hard to work with a time limt

I really enjoyed working with someone i barely spend time with and just have fun with them!  

Next time I need to let my buddy share more of her thinking then me.

I found it easy to color in my work and write down my pepeha.

I found it hard to pronounce the maori words. 

I really enjoyed being creative with my work.  

Next time I need to finish my work in time and add a audio.

We were learning about how good we can make up our own dance.

I found it easy to come up with dance moves.

I found it hard to teach other people our groups dance.

I really enjoyed to have fun and create a dance.

Next time I need to help more than two people to learn the dance.

We were learning about copyright images so we can not steal other peoples images.
I found it easy to find backgrounds to add to my pictures.
I found it hard to find the correct pictures i wanted within the time limit.
I really enjoyed being very creative and create a cool slide all about me and learn new things to do on the chromebooks.
Next time I need to add more detail to my work so it stands out more and make sure its not to basic or have too much detail.

We were learning about choices and we had to make a slide of how our class would get the message across.

I found it easy to come up with ideas.

I found it  really easy to copy and paste.

I found it hard to keep on moving the pictures/shapes to create my project.

I really enjoyed making your own story and being really creative. 

Next time I need to take my time to make my animations better and more detailed next time.

I found it easy to make images into shapes. 

I found it hard to make the teeth and legs.

I really enjoyed making me animal and creating new shapes.

Next time I need to move my shapes to the right place just a little bit.

I really enjoyed spending time on my animal and having fun!
